Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of EMRules, a service that collects, translates and structures regulatory publications from emerging-market regulators and delivers them through a dashboard and an API. In these terms, "EMRules", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the service. By creating an account you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization your account belongs to.

Accounts. You must give a working email address and confirm it before first use. You are responsible for activity under your account and your API keys. Keep keys secret and revoke any key you believe is exposed.

Plans and billing. The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in euros through Stripe, and requests beyond a plan's included amount are billed in arrears at the published overage rate. Stripe may show a converted price in your local currency; the charge is fixed at checkout. Prices can change with 30 days' notice by email, effective from your next billing period.

Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel at any time; see the Refund and cancellation policy.

Acceptable use. Use the service for your organization's internal work. Do not resell, redistribute or publish the dataset or a substantial part of it, circumvent rate limits or plan limits, share keys outside your organization, or probe or disrupt the service.

The data. EMRules republishes public regulatory documents and adds translations, summaries and classifications, some of them produced by automated systems. It is information, not legal, financial or compliance advice. Always check the original publication, which every record links to, before relying on it. We aim for accuracy and timeliness but do not guarantee them.

Availability. We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change or retire features and will give reasonable notice before removing something a paid plan includes.

Liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where practical.

Law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live.
